From March the 7th Centro de arte contemporáneo Huarte will be presenting Ayudas a la Creación en Artes Plásticas 2013 del Gobierno de Navarra with a show including selected works by Nicolás Alba, Iranzu Antona, Fermín Jiménez Landa, Alfredo Zubiaur, David Mutiloa will show Good displays catch crowds.
Good Displays catch crowds is a display system intended to be used in exhibition spaces, acting as a structure for placing artworks and projects in public presentations.
Good Displays catch crowds retrieves a display system design of mid-s. XX and comprises a regular metal structure generated by the union of plastic connectors and metal profiles of different colors (iron, stainless steel and green chroma).
As well as its functional purpose of providing a means to organize the viewing of the artistic, the system is presented as a critical design or counter-design that see- ks to turn the exhibition format into an instrument of subjectivization with which to counter-articulate the real and potential impulses of whatever artistic projects may be accomodated in the exhibition space itself.
